Gold to scrimmage Cosumnes River College


Sacramento Gold FC will keep busy during its first bye week of the season with a scrimmage against Cosumnes River College on Wednesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at CRC Stadium.

Through three NPSL regular season games, the Gold has earned three wins and taken all nine points. Season highlights so far include 3-1 wins over rival Sonoma County Sol on the road and FC Tacoma 253 in Sacramento's the home opener.

CRC's men's soccer program competes in the Big 8 Conference, which includes schools such as American River, Sacramento City, and Delta College. The Hawks finished with a 4-3-1 record in conference last season, and a 6-9-4 record overall.

Come out and support two local soccer teams! CRC Stadium is located on the Northeast corner of campus, which is at 8401 Center Parkway in Sacramento.

The Gold will return to NPSL action on Sunday, April 26 with a road contast against Real San Jose. Sacramento's next home game will be on Sunday, May 3 at 3 p.m. at Capital Christian High School against Portland's Spartans FC.
