2017 NPSL schedule released

February 10, 2017

Sacramento, CA -- The National Premier Soccer League has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming 2017 regular season.

Sacramento Gold FC will play 12 games during the season, three against each of the four other teams in the Golden Gate Conference. The Gold will play two teams twice at home and once on the road, while playing the other two once at home and twice on the road.

For the second straight season, Sacramento will begin their schedule at home at Capital Christian High School. This year, the Gold will face off against the rival Sonoma County Sol, with both teams sporting a 1-1 record at Capital Christian. However, the last time saw Sacramento come out on top by a score of 5-1, the largest margin of victory between the two rivals. Opening night will be Saturday, March 25.

The following weekend will be the first road game of the season, and the Gold's first ever game against the newest member of the Golden Gate Conference, Napa Valley 1839. Sacramento will then head to Oakland for the first matchup of the season against CD Aguiluchos USA, a game that is expected to bring plenty of goals. Then, on Saturday, April 15, the Gold will host the East Bay Stompers, the first time the two teams will play since last year's regular season finale, when the Stompers knocked Sacramento out of playoff contention at Capital Christian.

Other home games include a date with Aguiluchos on Saturday, May 13, another clash against the rival Sol on Saturday, June 3, the first ever match against Napa Valley at Capital Christian on Saturday, June 10, and the regular season finale against the Stompers on Saturday, July 1.

Tickets to Sacramento Gold FC home games are $5. The full schedule can be viewed on our website under the "Schedule" tab. A printable version can be found here.
